Takezawa Seiki has developed a floating holder that can correct minor misalignments between the pilot hole and the tool center. It responds well to small offsets and can align accurately with the pilot hole. Honing processes that always align with the pilot hole enable improved machining accuracy, suppression of quality variations, and prolong the tool's lifespan by preventing excessive force on the tool.
